In the Seiran hegemon, where masked nobles use menticidal dance to determine their social rankings, the government is run by a parasitic hive mind, and real-world plays have been reproduced in limerick form, a young boy sent to work as a servant in an upperclass house struggles against both the narrator and his own will to live.
